Let's talk
Every enquiry gets a response urgently, whether it comes from a family, a hospital or a GP.
You don't need to have it all worked out before you call. Most people phone us in the middle of a situation they weren't expecting, and a short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we can help. Feel free to contact us.
Before you call
What's useful to have to hand
None of this is required. It just makes the first conversation quicker.
- Who the care is for, and their age
- What they're struggling with day to day
- Whether they're at home, in hospital, or in a care facility right now
- Roughly when care needs to start
- Whether anyone in the family is currently doing the caring
Please don't send medical details by message
Diagnoses, medication lists, test results and ID numbers are better not sent over WhatsApp or email. Sister Sinta will go through all of that with you properly during the assessment, where it can be recorded and protected the way health information should be.
For referrers
Hospitals, GPs and discharge planners
Use the same number or email address and it comes straight to Sister Sinta. She will assess a patient in hospital or in a care facility ahead of a discharge, and takes a formal handover from the treating team so care carries on fluidly.
Where a patient needs it, in-home medical review is available through the rehabilitation doctor who supports our clinical oversight. Motivation letters for medical aid submissions are written on request.
